Burna Boy Set to Headline Halftime Show at 2026 NFL Paris Game

Nigerian Afrobeats superstar Damini Ogulu, professionally known as Burna Boy, has been selected as the headline performer for the halftime show of the 2026 NFL Paris Game.

The Grammy Award-winning musician will take the stage when the Pittsburgh Steelers face the New Orleans Saints on Sunday, October 25, at the iconic Stade de France in Paris.

The highly anticipated game is scheduled to begin at 2:30 p.m. Central European Summer Time, which is 9:30 a.m. Eastern Time. Burna Boy’s performance will form part of the NFL’s expanded international programme for the 2026 season.

The National Football League announced on Thursday that the Paris show is among seven halftime performances planned for its 2026 International Games. The events will take place across seven countries on four continents as the league continues to expand its global reach.

Speaking about the announcement, Burna Boy expressed excitement about returning to the Stade de France, a venue where he has previously delivered a major performance.

“Paris gave me one of the biggest nights of my career, and to walk back into Stade de France for a moment like this means everything,” he said.

He added that the NFL’s arrival in France represents a historic moment and said he was proud to bring African music to the occasion.

According to the NFL’s Senior Director of Global Game Presentation, Music and Entertainment, Tim Tubito, Burna Boy was a natural choice for the league’s first game in France. He highlighted the singer’s previous connection with the Stade de France and his influence in African music as key reasons for the selection.

The performance is expected to give fans in Paris a major blend of American football and Afrobeats while marking another international milestone for Burna Boy.
