Amanam’s journey into prosthetics was deeply personal. When his younger brother lost part of his hand in an accident, the family struggled to find a prosthetic that matched his skin tone. Frustrated by the lack of options, Amanam decided to use his sculpting skills to create lifelike prosthetic fingers, hands, arms, legs, and ears.

Despite lacking formal medical training, Amanam spent over a year researching and experimenting. His breakthrough came when he successfully crafted a realistic prosthetic hand for his brother, marking the beginning of his mission to serve Black amputees worldwide.

Breaking Barriers in the Prosthetic Industry

Amanam’s work challenges the historical lack of inclusivity in prosthetics. His creations feature visible veins, nail details, and precise color matching, ensuring that each prosthetic blends seamlessly with the wearer’s skin.

His company, Immortal Cosmetic Art, now serves clients in over 60 countries, providing amputees with prosthetics that reflect their identity and restore their confidence.
