Held in Accra, at its new office & studio, the milestone event attracted a star-studded lineup of musicians, DJs, actors, entrepreneurs, and loyal followers of the WatsUp TV brand.

The occasion served not only as a celebration of a decade of influence in African entertainment but also as a tribute to the community that has supported the brand’s journey from its humble beginnings to a continental media force.


Founder and CEO, Abdoulaye Traore also know as Abd Traore, reflected on the significance of the journey, describing the 10-year milestone as “a celebration of African creativity, consistency, and the belief that our stories matter.”

Abd Traore also used the opportunity to introduce key managers who will be leading various units at the channel and agency. They are Eddy Blay as Channel Manager, George Adu-Boahene as Head of Programs, Harrison Sekyi as Head of Production, Linus Lee Ayamga as Head of Social Media, Martin Sedem Dogbey as the Head of WatsUp Agency, Prince Akpah as the Head of Media Relations and Fofana Oumar as the Senior Digital Communications Manager and WatsUp TV Country Head Guinea.
