Poco Lee’s UK Court Case: Plea Hearing Set for February 2027, Trial to Follow in March

Nigerian dancer and entertainer Poco Lee is expected to return to court in the United Kingdom in 2027 as proceedings concerning his case continue.

According to Benjamin Kuti, popularly known as Oluomo of Derby, Poco Lee’s plea hearing has been scheduled for February 8, 2027. His trial is expected to commence one month later, on March 8, 2027.

Kuti shared the latest update after attending court proceedings on Tuesday. He explained that he was present to follow up on the case involving the Nigerian entertainer.

The development comes after an earlier update in August, when Kuti disclosed that Poco Lee was being held on remand in a UK prison and was expected to appear before the court for a plea hearing.

With the new schedule now announced, the legal proceedings are expected to continue into next year, beginning with the February plea hearing before the trial gets underway in March.

Kuti has also appealed to members of the public to allow the courts to handle the matter without rushing to conclusions based on claims or reports circulating online.

He stressed that allegations should not be treated as established facts, reminding the public that Poco Lee is entitled to the presumption of innocence unless a court determines otherwise.
