'I’m Done With Van Vicker' – Lil Win Says He’ll Never Work With Him Again

Ghanaian filmmaker and actor Kwadwo Nkansah, popularly known as Lil Win, says he has cut ties with actor Van Vicker. In a video posted online, Lil Win vowed he will never cast Van Vicker in any of his movies again after the actor allegedly pulled out a day before a scheduled shoot.

According to Lil Win, the final straw came when Van Vicker failed to show up and didn’t answer calls. He said he won’t even work on a project that features both of them. “It’s either you cast the movie alone or I cast it alone. I wouldn’t want to work with you again. Enough is enough,” he stated.

Lil Win accused Van Vicker of disrespecting stakeholders in the Kumawood industry. He claimed that whenever they call the actor a day before filming, he goes silent. “I have called you multiple times, but you don’t answer or return the calls to explain why you couldn’t come for the shoot,” he added.

The actor said he’s not short of options. He noted that there are many other talented actors in the industry he can work with. For Lil Win, loyalty and professionalism matter more than big names.

He also recalled the history between them. Lil Win said he first tried to cast Van Vicker and was turned down. Out of respect, he gave him a second chance on another project, but Van Vicker allegedly rejected it again. “It would not happen for the third time,” he said.

Lil Win revealed that his manager, Frank, had already put Van Vicker in the cast list for his upcoming movie. However, he has now removed the name. “For the work we are about to do, you are not bigger than anyone on the cast list,” he concluded.
