WatsUp TV is Reviving Musical Concerts in Ghana

WatsUp TV is a 24-hour Music Channel based in Ghana for over a decade. The channel has projected lots of Talents, especially from Ghana to the world due to its Pan African nature with its wide audience.

Indeed they play our Music Videos for free unless you want a deliberate promotional package and almost every Huge Artist in Ghana has benefited from this Channel.

WatsUp TV celebrated its 10th anniversary this year and gave birth to a new child called WatsUp Agency.

They announced their WatsUp On Campus Tour with the maiden edition featuring Ghana’s Dancehall king Shatta inside Legon University.

Strangely the Dean announced the appearance of COVID and banned all social gatherings on campus disregarding the investment WatsUp TV had put into paying Artists, logistics and running promotions for the concert.

Strangely the Dean announced that COVID had disappeared just a few days after the date for the concert had passed.

WatsUp TV/Agency brushed that setback aside and announced their next tour dates and this time it was a double announcement, one in Accra Technical University headlined by R2BEES and the following day at the University of Health and Allied Sciences (UHAS) HO in the Volta region headlined by Kwesi Arthur and Camidoh.

The success of the events was simply amazing and video evidence is there to show. The students had a blast and now more schools can’t wait to see WatsUp TV/Agency on their Campuses.

They have actually announced their next Campus Tour destination which is Cape Coast Technical University this Saturday 26th July 2025 and the Central region can’t wait to see their Headlining Artists perform on the night.

I must confess that it’s been a long while since we saw this kind of Musical Concerts in Ghana, especially after the likes of S Concert and Guinness Eruption Concerts etc and we’re excited that WatsUp TV is providing such great platforms to established and upcoming artists while entertaining our youth and revamping our entertainment sector.

Fact is WatsUp TV/Agency with this Usain Bolt speed and energy has no competition and we must all rally behind them to keep supporting the industry with more great initiatives since it all goes to benefit the industry .

The Ghana Tourism Authority and Creative Arts Agency, Ghana in Partnership with WatsUp TV/Agency can generate some magic as well.
For now, we can only appreciate their sponsors GINO, ICE and the rest for believing in them and contributing to our entertainment industry.

Our space is a very expensive space to invest in so when we get such great initiatives we must guard it with iron gloves since it’ll eventually pay off both ways.

We’ll also encourage the likes of 4syte TV and 3 MUSIC to fully activate their great concerts and awards so we can all contribute to this great sector and yes it is possible.
