In a move set to transform Africa's entertainment landscape, WatsUp TV and WatsUp Agency have signed a strategic partnership with the Ghana DJ Awards, marking a bold step toward deeper collaboration in content creation, talent promotion, and award programming across the continent.
The signing ceremony took place today at the WatsUp Headquarters in Spintex, Accra. Present at the event were Abdoulaye "ABD" Traoré, Founder and CEO of WatsUp TV and WatsUp Agency; Eddy Blay, Channel Manager of WatsUp TV; and Merqury Quaye, Founder and CEO of the Ghana DJ Awards.
This newly-formed alliance aims to amplify the reach and impact of the Ghana DJ Awards, Africa's pioneering platform dedicated to celebrating DJ culture and excellence in music entertainment.
Through this partnership, WatsUp TV will provide extensive media coverage, event production support, and promotional strategies to elevate the awards to new heights.
"Today's partnership marks a turning point in the way we celebrate African DJs and entertainers," said Merqury Quaye during the ceremony. "We're proud to work with visionary media partners like WatsUp to take the Ghana DJ Awards further onto the continental stage."

WatsUp TV, A pan-African entertainment television show, and its sister brand WatsUp Agency, bring deep expertise in digital media, branding, and event production. The synergy is expected to create enhanced experiences for fans and artists alike, with expanded media coverage and innovative promotional campaigns.
The Ghana DJ Awards, established in 2012, has been at the forefront of recognizing DJs from Ghana and the diaspora, and this latest move sets the stage for an even more impactful and widely celebrated edition.
With WatsUp TV's pan-African audience and digital influence, combined with the Ghana DJ Awards' solid reputation and cultural relevance, this partnership is set to reshape how African DJs and music professionals are recognized and celebrated.
