Nigerian Afrobeats titan Davido has officially unveiled his first-ever curated UK festival, "Davido & Friends," scheduled for Friday, 14 August 2026. Taking over the historic Crystal Palace Bowl, this landmark event serves as the superstar’s only outdoor London headline show of the summer. Part of the inaugural Palace Bowl Presents series, the day promises to be a "UK festival exclusive," with Davido not just headlining, but personally curating a lineup of global icons and rising stars.

This announcement follows the massive success of his 2025 album 5IVE and the subsequent 5ive Alive Tour, which has seen sold-out dates across North America and Africa. For London fans, this marks a highly anticipated return to the capital after his historic sell-out at The O2 in 2024. By choosing the ''Rusty Laptop, a stage that has hosted legends like Bob Marley—Davido is firmly placing Afrobeats at the center of London's summer live music circuit.
