Ghana Food & Arts Festival Takes Over Belgium This Weekend With Music, Culture & Investment
The highly anticipated Ghana Food & Arts Festival – Belgium Edition is set to take place this weekend, September 4–7, 2026, in Kortrijk, Belgium, bringing together Ghanaian culture, music, food, arts, investment and international diplomacy for a major celebration of Ghana’s heritage on the global stage.
Organised by VZW Urban Kick (Black Event Entertainment) in collaboration with Cultural Tribes Event LLC and Global Cultural Tribes Event LLC, the festival is being presented in collaboration with the Embassy of Ghana to the Kingdom of Belgium, the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and the European Union.
The four-day celebration will provide a platform for audiences in Belgium and beyond to experience the richness of Ghanaian culture while creating opportunities for cultural exchange, networking, tourism, business and investment.
Adding further strength to the international cultural initiative is WatsUp TV, the Pan-African entertainment television platform, which is participating in the project as a media and strategic partner.
With its reach across African audiences and its focus on music, entertainment, lifestyle and African culture, WatsUp TV will contribute to amplifying the festival and its key activities to audiences across Ghana, Africa and the diaspora.
Speaking on the collaboration, Kevin Boateng, Business Relations Manager at WatsUp TV, described the partnership as an important opportunity to promote Ghanaian culture while connecting entertainment with international business and cultural relations.

One of the major highlights of the Belgium edition will be a live performance by Ghanaian music star Wendy Shay, who is billed to take the stage during the festival.
She will be joined by an exciting lineup of Ghanaian and international performers, DJs and cultural acts, including Ennwai, Ansong, DJ Abena, Saidou, Princesflor, DJ Nene, DJ Med-Kay, Mobangs, DJ Pelia, Axana, TJ West, DJ Potmo, Jare Flosy, DJ Opogo and Afroking DJ.
The festival will also feature cultural performances from Kassah Cultural Troupe and Ayawusu Mashishi Weili Cultural Troupe, adding traditional Ghanaian music, dance and cultural expression to the programme.
