Video: Sarkodie’s First Day At Airport Was When He Shot ‘Borga’ Music Video – Ex Manager Reveals

Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie’s ‘Borga’ was one of the most popular songs released in the year 2009. The song was part of the compositions of his debut album dubbed ‘Makye‘ which was produced by Duncwills Entertainment.

The lyrical content of the above-named song depicts the difficulties faced by African migrants in European countries and an advise to them to remain in their countries to work hard.

Well, one Mr James Korsah-Brown who was a team member of Duncwills Entertainment management, the management of Sarkodie at the time in an interview with Radio Central’s Amansan Krakye said;

“Do you know one secret about Sarkodie?, when he did that song ‘Borga’, he had never travelled abroad before so all the verses were just made belief”.

Mr James further revealed that it took them 8 solid months to shoot the video because they had a tough time getting an aeroplane and a tarmac for the video shoot.
