Kwesi Arthur performs latest song 'Woara' at Church

Fast-rising Ghanaian artiste, Kwesi Arthur has taken his latest hit song, ‘Woara’ to the church.

The hip-hop artiste has been spotted in a latest video performing his his single at the Tema Community 9 Church of Pentecost. The Tema-based rapper who is now dining with ‘heavy weight’ rappers, and industry players was recently nominated for BET awards in the US.

The young rapper upon his return from the prestigious BET awards, hosted in Los Angeles, took his family for a thanksgiving service at the Tema Community 9 Church of Pentecost. Kwesi Arthur who seems to be religious was spotted in a video, together with his team and his entire family to give reverence to God. The rapper in a short address to the congregation testified how God has been faithful to him in his music journey, despite the challenges. “Two years ago it wasn’t easy. It was really difficult for me and my family to find something little to buy food…But now, by the grace of the Almighty God, everything is calm in my path,” Kwesi told the congregation.
The rapper in honor to God then took to the floor to perform his latest hit single, “Woara” as the entire church dance along. Kwesi Arthur has risen above all odds and challenges, and he is now recognized as one of the outstanding young rappers in Ghana music industry. The rapper recently won the hip-hop song of the year award in the 2018 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (GMAs). He was also nominated in the Viewer’s Choice category at the 2018 Black Entertainment Television Awards (BETs) in the United States.
