I joined the school choir to escape 'silence hour' - Kwesi Arthur
Ghana’s fast-rising rapper, Kwesi Arthur has revealed what could be described as the most hilarious and ridiculous reason why he decided to join the school choir back in his days at the Senior High School.
The Tema based rapper disclosed in an interview with Zionfelix on the latest episode of ‘Celebrity Ride with Zionfelix’ that he decided to join the school choir at the time just to escape the usual silence hour on the school’s timetable.
The ‘Woara’ hitmaker told the host of the show that he didn’t like the idea of sitting quietly in the class for about an hour. Also, Kwesi disclosed that he was very aware that if he sat in the class and decided to make any form of noise, the teachers would have certainly punished him and as such his decision to take refuge in the choir where he could make all the noise he wanted.
The recently unveiled Fan Milk Company brands ambassador also stated that even though his decision to join the choir during his days at the Tema Senior High School was for ulterior motives, he believes it was a great decision because he loved singing.
