I’m grateful for my journey so far – Kwesi Arthur

When he set out on his music journey, Kwesi Arthur had hopes of making it to the top but he had no idea how long it would take.

Fortunately for him, it was fast and within a year of his rise to face, he has been nominated for a BET award, he has bagged ambassadorial deals, mounted stages with lots of big acts, collaborated with some of the big names in Ghanaian music and is one of the most popular acts in Ghana today.

While he relishes his time in the spotlight, Kwesi Arthur recognises the fact that it has not been an easy journey and has expressed gratitude for where he is now.

“I must say, I am very grateful for how far I have come, the journey and everything has been amazing. I thank God for the grace and the people for the love,” he told Showbiz recently.

Speaking on his BET experience, the Anthem singer said, it is one he will never forget.

“That feeling is one that I am yet to get over because of the time it came. Again I am very grateful for how Ghana pushed me to the top. It feels really good to have all the love and support from your people,” he said.

In answer to how his journey has been so far, he said, “it has been great but not easy, it takes a lot of work and dedication to get to the top and that has been the drive.”

For the future Kwesi Arthur said, “the future is extremely bright, we are working on great things and we will take the world by storm.

"We are in the studio, working, working to make sure we bring out the best and nothing but the best. The fact that we are being hailed doesn’t mean we should be complacent, there are more fields to conquer.”

Kwesi Arthur is known for songs such as 8pm in Tema, Ade Akye, Back on the Wall, Devil Knocking, Don’t Keep Me Waiting, Nobody among others.
