Faking my pregnancy was a prank- Shatta Michy

Ghanaian TV presenter/actress Diamond Michelle Gbagonah popularly known as Shatta Michy has disclosed that it was quite fun faking her pregnancy last year.

According to the mother of one, she received lots of congratulatory messages following the post of her fake baby bump on her social media handles.

In a chat, Michy mentioned that the idea came to mind a few days before her birthday to know the reaction of Ghanaians on her expectation of a second child.

“It was my birthday and I wanted to get Ghanaians talking. After posting the picture, I sat back to read the comments and it was just fun.

"Till date, I still get people who think the pregnancy was real and asking me how the baby is doing," she told Graphic Showbiz.

Although Michy describes herself as a sociable being, She indicated that she does not have very close friends in the industry.

“I don’t have friends in the industry after coming together to work, it ends there. I don’t have industry friends visiting me or I go visiting them," she stated.

At the moment, Michy hosts Movement Showbiz on Movement TV, where she has interviewed a number of celebrities including  Yaa Pono and  Osofo Kyireabosom’s wife, among many other interesting personalities.

Michy was full of appreciation to Chairman Wontumi for giving her the chance to put in good use her hosting abilities as a presenter.
