Chelsea legend Didier Drogba calls on Ghana President

Chelsea legend Didier Drogba has paid a surprise visit to Ghana’s President Nana Akufo-Addo.

The 38-year-old former Ivorian international was hosted at the Flagstaff House, the seat of government Friday afternoon.

President Akufo-Addo made the revelation in a Facebook post.

Drogba, who is without a club after completing his deal with MLS side Montreal Impact is known to have many professional friends in Ghana.

He was spotted together with Ghanaian international and ex-teammate Michael Essien when Chelsea thrashed Arsenal 3-1 at the Stamford Bridge last week.
