His choice of "Kweku" and "Kwame" both traditional Akan names given to boys born on Wednesday and Saturday respectively also signals his growing familiarity with local customs.

Mayorkun's relationship with Ghana continues to deepen, especially as his upcoming album, set to be released on June 13, features two Ghanaian artistes among its collaborators.

Fans across the region are eagerly awaiting the project, which includes 12 tracks and promises a rich blend of sounds and influences.

The light-hearted exchange further endeared the singer to Ghanaian audiences, highlighting the cultural ties that continue to grow between Nigerian and Ghanaian musicians.
