Abraham Attah is now arrogant towards me after going to America, he shouts on me – Strika (video)

We shared a story earlier this morning which sees Strika who happens to be a cast in award-winning movie ‘Beast of No Nation’ now turned into a street beggar, dirty and unwashed.

According to one Caleb Boye who happened to have chanced upon him on the street begging, Strika born Emmanuel Nii Adom Quaye now helps a man to sell yam at Agbogbloshie Market.

Being an orphan, the young actor now stays with his grandma.

Caleb conducted a brief interview for Strika where he asked him questions on life after landing his first major role in Beast of No Nation movie.

Strika said he was given $30,000 after the movie but since he wasn’t 18 years old, someone was told to keep the money at the Bank so that if he turns 18, he can take it.

However, Strika said all attempts to claim the money has proved futile now that he’s 18 because they still tell him that he’s still a small boy.

Speaking on featuring in other movies, Strika said he featured in ‘Jungle Justice‘ where he was paid Ghs 10,000.

For this money, he saw it for himself but the money was used to purchase clothings meant for a movie premiere. He mentioned one Mawuko as the one who asked him to use the money to buy the clothings.

Touching also on his relationship with co-actor Abraham Attah, Strika said Abraham has changed towards him.

He shows him attitude, always shouts at him when they meet. He lamented that he doesn’t know if the change of behavior is because he has travelled outside the country while he (Strika) is back here in Ghana.

He added that he made complaints to Abraham’s local manager about his  sudden change of attitude and the manager assured him that he’ll talk to Abraham.

Emmanuel Nii Adom Quaye, who played the role of ‘Strika’ in the movie Beast of No Nation, was another standout performer.

‘Strika’ was a mute boy in Commandant’s army who befriended Agu (Attah’s character). The character was played with so much depth by Quaye.

Rather unfortunate things are going this way for him.
