Ghanaian female celebrities who claim to be virgins

So we all know it is not easy to be a female celebrity in Ghana.

Whether you are into movies, music, fashion or even in corporate work, there is a likelihood of some man harassing you or tempting you with favours to sleep with you.

It is therefore refreshing to learn that despite all the temptations and frustrations, a female celebrity has stood her grounds and not given in.

YEN.com.gh brings you some of these female celebrities who claim not to have only stood their grounds but have also remained virgins till date.

1. MzVee:

The 25-year-old Dancehall musician, born Vera Hamenoo-Kpeda, claims she is a virgin.

According to her, rumours that she was in a relationship with her label boss, Richie Mensah, were all lies and that she has not had sex before.

Making the revelation in an interview with Delay, MzVee, who is the only female BET nominee from Ghana, stated that she was not in a relationship because she wanted to concentrate on her music.

2. Maame Serwaa:

The young Kumawood actress, known privately as Clara Benson, has times without number maintained that she is a virgin.

She once remarked that though she has had many encounters and played with males, she had not gone to the extent of doing anything with them.

Though

Maame Serwaa’s claim is quite believable because though she has been in the limelight for over 10 years now, she just 18 years old.

3. Berla Mundi

Popular TV and radio presenter, Berla Mundi, is also on record to have claimed to be a virgin.

Berla made the while speaking on the Delay Show some time back.

“I’m 27 and still a virgin and the reason is simple I am waiting on God”, she si reported to have said.

This was before a recent accusation by her former friend, Yvonne Nelson that Berla was sleeping with married men for favors by.

But since Berla did not admit to that, we assume her virginity still holds.
