“Reign” album launch wasn’t sold out, it was a ‘free event’ – Stonebwoy +Video
Bhim Nation boss and Ashaiman based artiste Stonebwoy has thrown a new shade at his label mate and rival in the music industry.
Stonebwoy last weekend organized the fifth edition of his most anticipated concert dubbed “Ashaiman to da World 2018” where according to sources over 90,000 patrons turned up for the event at the Saka Saka park in Ashaiman.
Stonebwoy after the event in an interview with Citi tv revealed that Shatta Wale’s ” Reign” album launch which pulled over 20,000 people to the Fantasy Dome was a free concert and not a paid concert as the public has been made to believe.
According to him, even though tickets were sold, he considers the show as a ‘free’ event because most people did not pay to enter.
“I am not in competition with anybody but even if I was, you can see the difference. Because that [Shatta’s] show at the Fantasy Dome was free. People came from buses and got it for free. To me, that was not a sold out event. This is also a free event but you see the numbers that we commanded. This is my hood; almost 50, 000 people,” he said.
