WHO IS FRD?

WHO IS FRD?

FRD is a multi-talented Ghanaian musician that doesn’t limit his art to a singular genre.

He can easily and seamlessly create an 808 – filled trap song where he raps beautifully and simultaneously make a very danceable afro-beat track that would get people dancing their butts off.

This talented chap plays two instruments: The Guitar and The Piano, with a greater affinity to the Guitar which he creates and performs songs with. He has been playing both instrument for a while now, that gave him a greater understanding of music as an art form.

Besides playing instruments, he produces instrumentals using a program called Fruity Loops, which he used by the way to create the instrumental to the highly sought FRD ft Grs Papy – Bembelezu (Freedom).

FRD also mixes and arranges recorded tracks using a program called Cubase.

He recently got a deal with a recording label called Grit Media Group (GMG) which really gave him a platform to be able to get his music heard and under which he released the “Bembelezu” track.

After signing to GMG, FRD associated with the Luc Belaire brand and signed with them making him a brand ambassador for the drink.

FRD is constantly in the studio working on new tracks, collaborations and works.

In future, FRD plans to shoot the “Bembelezu” video and release it in grand style across an array of promotion platforms as well as international TV stations.  He also plans to push the envelope and standard to Ghanaian music and be part of the artists that push it to the world. He wishes to be making some of the greatest videos in Ghana, so as to facilitate the international recognition and place him on the map. The fact he speaks French fluently will allow him to make the transition to the French countries simpler and more efficient as he knows a lot of them.
