If you bleach, don’t post “black lives matter” — Hushpuppi

Nigerian Big Man and Instagram sensation, Ray Hushpuppi, has taken to his social media page to comment on the trending hashtag #BlackLivesMatter ; an international human rights movement, originating from within the African-American community, which campaigns against violence and systemic racism towards black people.

Hushpuppi, who took to his IG story, wrote that people who bleach their skin are not allowed to post or show support for the ”Black Lives Matter” movement.

Skin bleaching refers to the use of products to lighten dark areas of the skin or achieve an overall lighter complexion. This practise has been condemned by many all over the world and Hushpuppi is one of those condemning the act.
