Meanwhile, the Tema-based artiste is shaking up the music scene with a new Amapiano track titled Baajo, a joyful, high-energy tune.
Baajo, which literally translates come and dance in Ga, is more than just a return to form, it’s a celebration of rhythm, culture and unity.
With this latest release, Stay Jay fuses the infectious grooves of Amapiano with his signature Twi Pop flair, giving the sound a uniquely Ghanaian twist that fans both at home and across the continent can vibe to.
Produced by SkyBeatz and released earlier this month, the two-minute 48-second song is a blend of log drums, soulful melodies and high-spirited chants that compel listeners to move.
Sharing the inspiration behind the song, Stay Jay revealed that Baajo was born from a moment of pure happiness.
“I was at a gathering with friends, and the energy was just beautiful. Everyone was dancing, laughing and living in the moment. That feeling of connection, that's what I wanted to bottle up and share with the world.”
“Whether you're at a beach party, a roadside bar or dancing in your room, Baajo is crafted to lift moods and spark joy,” he said.
He revealed plans to release an EP to showcase his range and re-establish his presence in the industry.
“I’m in the process of putting together an EP that showcases a variety of sounds and themes, and I’m really excited about how it’s shaping up and also about dropping my two-pack albums,” he said.
