Juma Jux announces final wedding celebration to be held in Tanzania
Tanzanian R&B star Juma Jux has confirmed that the final celebration of his wedding to Nigerian influencer Priscilla Ojo will take place in Tanzania.
This event will mark the culmination of their multi-location wedding festivities, which have beautifully blended Tanzanian and Nigerian cultures.
The couple's wedding journey began with an Islamic Nikkah ceremony in Dar es Salaam on February 7, 2025, attended by family, friends, and celebrities from both countries. They continued their celebrations with a Yoruba traditional wedding in Lagos on April 17, 2025, followed by a white wedding on April 19, 2025, also in Lagos.
According to Priscilla's mother, Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo, the couple planned four wedding events: two in Nigeria, one in Tanzania, and a final destination celebration. The upcoming Tanzanian event is expected to be a grand finale, bringing together fans, family, and friends to celebrate the couple's union.
The artist, who tied the knot with his wife in a series of ceremonies held across different countries, described the upcoming event as the grand finale.
In a video shared via Instagram Stories, Jux jokingly remarked that his wife is “tired” from the back-to-back events, multiple outfit changes, and cultural demands, while all he had to do was wear a suit.
Juma Jux indicated that, those five or six weddings weren’t enough, adding that he initially dreamed of holding ceremonies in every country significant to their love story, including Rwanda, where they first met.
Tanzanian music star Juma Jux has confirmed that the final leg of his lavish, multi-country wedding celebrations will take place in Tanzania on May 28, 2025.
