Fellow artiste are off-limits for me - Cina Soul
Ghanaian singer and songwriter Christie Quincyna Quarcoopome known professionally as Cina Soul has disclosed that she is not interested in dating a fellow musician.
Speaking in an interview on Prime Morning, She shared her thoughts on romance and relationships within the music industry, noting her preference for dating or marrying someone from a different profession.
She stated that her desire to gain insight into other industries and hear about their experiences beyond the music world as her reason for not settling down with a colleague musician.
“I feel like artiste to artiste is someway. It could work for some people but for me, I want someone with a different story. I want us to come back home and talk about things like, how was the hospital? Oh, how was court? How was the bank? Not every day okay the studio, we’ll all talk about the same thing. So is just want something different,” she explained.
Cina Soul acknowledged her preference for someone outside the music industry, According to her view, she emphasized that her ideal partner must possess a fun-loving personality and a compatible energy.
When questioned about the potential for boredom, particularly with someone like a doctor, she countered that she would find it fascinating to learn about their daily experiences and the inner workings of a hospital.
“I don’t think it will be boring. You’ll have so many stories. I think he’ll be like this person did this and then I save a life… I feel it will be very interesting.”
Meanwhile, Cina Soul has released her debut album, titled Did I Lie, from which she has released two songs: ‘Larger Than Life,’ featuring Stonebwoy, and ‘Too Bad.’
