
King Promise says his music speaks volumes ahead of TGMA Artiste of the Year Showdown
Ghanaian Afrobeats and Highlife artist King Promise has confidently declared, "My work speaks for itself," as he vies for the Artiste of the Year title at the upcoming 2025 Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA).
With 10 nominations this year-double his tally from 2024-King Promise emphasizes that his consistent output, chart-topping hits, and global reach make him a strong contender for the award.
Speaking in an interview on Hitz FM's HitzGallery, he stated that he have been consistent and always put in much effort the year under review.
However he indicated that he tried to be better than last year. The work speaks for itself. If this is the blessing that comes with it, he will gladly accept it"
His recent hits like "Terminator," "Paris," Continental," "Sexy," and "Favourite Story" have resonated with fans, while his international tours across Asia, Europe, and North America have expanded his global appeal. King Promise's team, led by public relations officer Tilly Akua Nipaa, underscores that his achievements are merit-based, dismissing any notions of a "pity vote".
The 2025 TGMA Artiste of the Year category features strong competitors, including Stonebwoy, King Paluta, Black Sherif, Joe Mettle, Kweku Smoke, and Team Eternity Ghana. However, King Promise's blend of local dominance and international success positions him as a formidable candidate for the coveted title.
The 2025 TGMA awards ceremony is scheduled to take place on 10,May 2025, at the Accra International Conference Center.
