Patapaa buys a 3-bedroom house in Swedru and announces he will soon be a father

- Ghanaian musician, Patapaa, has announced the purchase of a 3-bedroom house at Swedru

- He went on to say that he wants to secure a comfortable place of abode for his family in future Rising Ghanain musician, Patapaa, has revealed that he has purchased a three-bedroom house at Swedru.

According to a report by Ghanacelebrities.com, he stated that he decided against paying two or three years rent in Accra, and purchased the house. MyNewsGH.com reports that he did that because he estimated he will soon become a father, and as such, his family needs a place to live.

“In Accra, you would have to pay two or three year rent advance, I have been able to build a three-bedroom house in my hometown, Swedru. Very soon I will have a child and he/she must have an abode.” he said.

He went on to disclose the reason for his soaring popularity in recent times. He noted that his accusations of bias against the organizers of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) directed attention towards him. Patapaa explained that the incident gave him a lot of exposure, which was more compared to the level his hit song ‘One Corner’ gave him. Patapaa’s ‘One Corner’ lost the Most Popular Song of The Year award to ‘Fancy Gadam’s ‘Total Cheat’, which featured Sarkodie.
