Sarkodie was too shy to propose to me – Tracy Sarkcess recounts how their relationship started

The wife of award-winning Ghanaian musician, Sarkodie, Tracy Sarkcess has taken fans of Sarkodie down memory lane.

Born Tracy Ankrah but now Tracy Owusu Addo, she indicated that she knew Sarkodie since she was a child and at that time, Sarkodie had feelings for her, however, he was sad to say.

She added that Sarkodie then told her (Tracy) cousin about how he likes her (Tracy) and she made this known in a recent submission that she made on THE DAY show hosted by Berla Mundi.

Meanwhile, Ghanaian media icon, Nana Ofori, popularly known as Nana Lion has expressed his displeasure at how Sarkodie is being belittled and disrespected by Ghanaians

According to him, Sarkodie has become one of the most disrespected Ghanaian musicians because Ghanaians do not cherish his credibility and the prowess he possesses when it comes to the music craft.

Speaking with a group of panelists on Class Showbiz, Nana Lion stated that he is pained whenever he sees people, especially social media folks disrespecting and downplaying the credibility of Sarkodie.

He stated that Sarkodie has proven himself by winning the prestigious BET Award scheme without having any record label backing him. He said that several top record labels negotiate their way through to winning BET Awards but Sarkodie single-handedly grabbed this award, yet Ghanaians always tend to disrespect him.
