Mr. Drew explains how he met his hero, Usher Raymond. 

Ghanaian musician, Andrew Commey Otoo, widely known as Mr. Drew has explained how he finally got the chance to meet his idol, Usher Raymond after professing the impact he has made on his music career.

It may be remembered that the “Dayana” singer expressed his desire to connect with the illustrious artist in one of his tweets, possibly in order to work together on a project.

Mr. Drew wanted to meet Usher because, in his opinion, Usher’s skill as a performer greatly influenced his musical career. He continued by saying that Usher has greatly influenced the artist he is today, and he wished Ghanaians will help him by supporting him in realizing his ambition of meeting him.

Well, Mr. Drew had his wish granted as he was able to interact with his idol, Usher Raymond through a phone video call.

Speaking in an interview with Zionfelix on the Uncut Show, Mr. Drew stated that he confessed his love for the American singer and wanted to meet him and he knew people had the means to make his dream a reality.

He said that he was there when one of his crew members told him that Usher wishes to speak with him. Mr. Drew also said that the aim to speak to Usher was not to secure collaboration deal with him but just to let him know of his music brand and talent.
