"He Has Fed Me Before": Camidoh Shows Love to Stonebwoy for Career Support
In an industry often marred by "phony attitudes," Camidoh is pointing to a rare example of genuine brotherhood. During an emotional and revealing interview on Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, the "Sugarcane" hitmaker opened up about the profound impact Stonebwoy has had on his life and career.
According to Camidoh, the BHIM Nation boss hasn't just supported him with words; he has actively ensured the younger artist's financial stability by referring high-paying gigs and performance opportunities to him without asking for a single cedi in return.
Camidoh highlighted Stonebwoy's selfless approach to industry leadership, noting that the "5 Star General" often sacrifices his own potential bookings to lift others up.
"There have been times when he would call, or have his manager call, to say there's a gig happening, and he won't be able to perform. He'll tell them to give it to me instead, and he doesn't expect anything in return."
For Camidoh, this isn't just about music, it's about survival. He credits Stonebwoy with literally putting "food on his table" during various stages of his career.
"I mean, even if ten people tell me Stonebwoy doesn't like me, I wouldn't believe itbecause this person has fed me before. I will always respect that.'' he said.
The interview also touched on the difficulty of finding authentic connections in the Ghanaian music scene. Camidoh admitted that he maintains a small, "reserved" circle specifically because many relationships in the industry are built on temporary interests.
"I take advice from him. I call him a brother, like a big brother, rather than just a friend, because our relationship is reserved. I reachout when I truly need guidance," he added.
Camidoh declared that even if ten people tried to convince him that Stonebwoy didn't like him, he wouldn't believe it because of the tangible love Stonebwoy has shown him in private.
