WASHINGTON, D.C. - The U.S. Supreme Court on Friday agreed to hear a Virginia case with the potential to resolve nationwide questions over which bathrooms transgender students can use.

The Justices said they'd consider the Gloucester County school district's request to avoid compliance with an Obama administration directive that public schools let transgender students use bathrooms and locker facilities of the gender they identify with.
