Most of My Support Comes from Nigeria – Olivetheboy

Ghanaian singer and Afrobeat sensation, Olivetheboy, has revealed that the majority of his fan support comes from neighboring Nigeria — a country known for its massive influence on African music culture.

Speaking in a recent interview, the “Goodsin” hitmaker expressed gratitude for the overwhelming love he has received from Nigerian music lovers, stating that their support has significantly contributed to his growing popularity across the continent.

“Most of my support comes from Nigeria. The fans there have embraced my sound in ways I didn’t expect. It’s been amazing seeing the streams, comments, and the general reception from that side,” Olivetheboy shared.

The young star’s breakout track “Goodsin” became a viral sensation in 2023, catapulting him into the limelight and earning him a spot among the new wave of African artists redefining Afrobeats.

With streaming numbers climbing and cross-border collaborations in the works, Olivetheboy is steadily building a fan base that goes beyond Ghana’s borders.

Many industry experts see his success in Nigeria as a testament to the power of digital platforms and the growing unity within West Africa’s music scene.

As Olivetheboy gears up for more international performances and possibly a debut album, he remains focused on creating music that resonates across cultures — and acknowledges the key role Nigerian fans continue to play in his journey.

“It means a lot to see people outside of my country connect with my music,” he added. “It pushes me to keep going.”

With talent, humility, and cross-border appeal, Olivetheboy is proving that music truly knows no boundaries.
