VYBZ KARTEL’S WORL’ BOSS TOUR: A GLOBAL DANCEHALL TAKEOVER
Just a month after electrifying Brooklyn’s Barclays Center with two sold-out shows—his first U.S. performances in two decades, Vybz Kartel is taking his music to the world. The dancehall icon has officially announced his Worl’ Boss Tour, a 15-date global trek that kicks off on May 24 in Guyana and will bring his signature sound to major cities including Atlanta, London, Paris, and Kingston, before concluding in Birmingham this September.
A Monumental Year for Kartel
Kartel’s return to the stage comes after a landmark year that saw him earn a Grammy nomination, grace the cover of Billboard, and, most significantly, secure his long-awaited release from prison. His comeback has been nothing short of historic, proving that his influence in dancehall remains as strong as ever.
Reflecting on his journey, Kartel declared, “The summer is ours…more passport stamps, more ‘Pretty Girls,’ and endless possibilities”. His words capture the energy of a tour that promises to be a celebration of resilience, artistry, and global dancehall culture.
The Worl’ Boss Tour will see Kartel performing at some of the biggest venues and festivals worldwide. Fans can expect high-energy performances at Reggae Sumfest in Jamaica, Wireless Festival in London, and SummerJam in Cologne, among others.
His return to the U.S. stage has already been met with overwhelming enthusiasm, with sold-out shows proving that his fanbase remains as devoted as ever. The European leg of the tour will further cement his status as a global dancehall ambassador, bringing his music to audiences in Amsterdam, Manchester, and Malta.
