Kelvyn Boy’s music removed from Apple Music
Kelvyn Boy has lost his content on the Apple platform except "Me and You" – a song he released in May featuring D. Bee.
Afrobeats musician, Kelvyn Boy might be facing copyright infringement issue on Apple Music because all his music, except one, have been removed from the music streaming and purchasing store.
Checks by Pulse.com.gh on Wednesday, July 4, 2018, indicate that the Burniton Music Group record label artiste has lost his content on the Apple platform except "Me and You" – a song he released in May featuring D. Bee.
Even though the reason(s) behind the removal of Kelvyn Boy’s content is unknown, it could be linked to the violation of Apple Music’s policies especially copyright infringement.
When Pulse.com.gh contacted the record label’s publicist, Elorm Beenie, to share the problems he refused to reveal, saying “Kelvyn Boy's songs will be fixed back soon (on Apple Music)".
The young and energetic vocalist has had a great career so far after hitting the limelight last year.
His breakthrough single, titled “Na You” featuring his label boss Stonebwoy propelled him to the top, winning the “Unsung” category award at the 2018 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
Kelvyn is currently on Stonebwoy’s “Epistles of Mama” album tour in Europe.
