PUSHA T SAYS ‘KING PUSH’ WILL BE ALBUM OF 2018

King Push wants the crown once again. Pusha T says his upcoming album will be the “album of the year.”

During an interview at ComplexCon, he opened up about his first album in over two years. “Perfection takes time,” he told Complex. “2018, my album will be album of the year. Rap. Straight rap. You already know who on the production so we ain’t even gotta talk about it.”

As previously confirmed, Kanye West will be producing the entire LP. Earlier this year, Pusha said that he and Yeezy have already crafted three versions of the project.

“I’ve done this album like three times,” he said to fans at Made in America (via XXL). “[Kanye] come in, he pick all the beats and shit. Then he hears the beats and he scraps them and says ‘I can do better.’ He’s done that shit like three times.”

The G.O.O.D. Music president has been promoting King Push for a few years now, even before dropping 2015’s King Push — Darkest Before Dawn: The Prelude, which was meant to be a precursor to his upcoming effort.
