(Video) After Recent Divorce Letoya Luckett Is Engaged Again
Former Destiny Child’s member, Letoya Luckett planned a surprise birthday dinner for her boyfriend, Texas entrepreneur Tommicus Walker. However, she was moved to tears after he surprised her.
Love The Second Time Around: It appears that R&B singer, Letoya Luckett has found love again. She almost doubted that it would happen but she met a southern gentleman that proved her wrong. In case you missed it, it was just this past June that LeToya Luckett appeared on the season finale of “The Book of John Gray” where she declared that she was “tired of the runaround” when it came to dating while adding, “It’s just not working out.” However, she did share that she still believed in love and that she was waiting for her husband to find her. Well, it seems like her prayers were answered.

Letoya also took to Instagram to share the moment with the caption, “Love Wins”.
This will be the second marriage for Luckett, who got divorced last year to relationship coach Rob Hill Sr. LeToya Luckett and Rob Hill Sr. got divorced after two months of marriage for reasons neither has elaborated on extensively. During an interview with “The Breakfast Club” in May, the singer somewhat revealed exactly what went wrong during their short-lived marriage.
I think, and I can’t really speak on it like that, but anytime you open up and allow yourself to love and love hard, that’s the risk you take of it possibly not working out. And although we really did love and care for each other, it just didn’t turn out the way we wanted it to. I wish him the best. It sucks, you know what I mean? Because I’m as real it gets. I’m a real person. You can ask anybody who knows me. I do this, this is my day job, but I’m a lover at heart. I’m a friend. I like real people, I like real things. I share real emotions, especially through my music, which I did on this album. But, you know, heartbreak happens when you open up and allow yourself to love.

With her loved ones present, Luckett became so emotional after her southern beau declared his love for her in front of everyone. Her brother, music producer Gavin Luckett, captured the proposal as his sister has found love again. The 36-year-old singer was brought to tears as Walker got down on one knee and surprised her with an engagement ring during his birthday dinner which was planned by Luckett herself.

Now one year later, Luckett is now engaged to a single father from the south. She mentioned that she was ready to start a family as Luckett and Walker look picture perfect as they posed with his daughter.
