Ko-Jo Cue Talks About The Biggest Disappointment In The Industry Is In The Last 10 Years

Lots has been said about how the how the industry has been dwindling in terms of improvements. BBnZ artiste Ko-Jo Cue has a sit down with GhBlogger to answer a few questions about the Ghanaian music industry.

When asked what the biggest disappointment in the industry is in the last 10 years, He said,

We still haven’t been able to get the proper structures in place to make sure all creatives eat off their craft. Some people still get nothing for doing their jobs in this industry. That’s disappointing.

The Oseikrom President revealed that He has big plans for Kumasi in terms of concerts and it will all come together hopefully this year.

Few weeks ago, MTV Base listed Ko-Jo Cue amongst others as one of the best Rapper from Ghana. Music critics have also applauded him for his flawless lyricism and wordplay.

To talk about the perfect the environment to write his songs, the Punchline King revealed said,

“I just need solitude. I can write anywhere but being alone helps me write best. So even when I write in the studio, I either sit in the booth or I ignore everyone and pretend I’m alone.

The Punchline King was then put in a tight corner when He was asked to mention 3 Ghanaian artistes He will encourage up and coming artistes to listen to.

He listed by saying,

“Daddy Lumba, Obrafuor, Nana Ampadu or Amakye Dede.
