My biggest regret in life is that I didn't become a lawyer - Shatta Wale

Award winning Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale has revealed in a recent interview with BBC News Africa that his greatest disappointment in life was not pursuing a career in law.

According to him, Shatta Wale noted that despite his passion for music, he's always had a deep-seated desire to become a lawyer, acknowledging that he is still making plans to have a career in law.

" I'm trying, when I make enough money, I will become a lawyer," he stated.

The "question and answer" session  also saw the Kakai hitmaker answer questions about his favourite song, best food, favourite lyrics of all time, biggest  regret in life and to choose between love and money.

Shatta Wale mentioned Jamaican singer, Vybz Kartel's Mansa Musa Money as his favourite lyrics of all time with Kenkey being his favourite food.

These were words about his favourite food, " Kenkey is my favourite food. When there was war in Ghana in the olden days, people used to eat it and they waited 30 years before eating it again".

On the question of choosing between love and money, Shatta Wale settled on money saying, " Love doesn't pay the bills".
