Kate Middleton recycles daring red coat in support of Welsh rugby team

Kate Middleton turned to a trusty old wardrobe favourite for her appearance at this evening's Wales vs. France rugby match in Paris.

She teamed her pillarbox-red Carolina Herrera coat with a black turtleneck sweater and black woollen gloves to keep out the chill.

The Duchess of Cambridge, who attended the tournament with her husband Prince William, wore her long brunette locks down in her signature blow-out style.

She was at the Stade de France stadium in Paris' Saint-Denis district for the Six Nations match, with Wills being there for the first time as the patron of the Welsh Rugby Union - his grandmother, the Queen, stepped down from the position in December 2016.

The married couple, who left children Prince George and Princess Charlotte back home in the UK for their quick trip to France, looked cosy and content as they cheered on the Welsh team from the stands.

At one point, Kate rested her head on William's shoulder as they followed the action, before they both stood and applauded the team.

Kate made sure today's outfit reflected Wales' national colours - the colour of her coat is a perfect echo of the red dragon emblazoned on the Welsh flag.

She even sang along to the Welsh national anthem, Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau, in word-perfect Welsh.

It came after she donned Chanel for various engagements in Paris earlier today, having worn a multicoloured coat with three-quarter-length sleeves and a black belt with the signature entwined double-Cs for her daytime look.
