Janet Jackson desperately calls 911 about her son

Pop legend Janet Jackson became very frightened about the status of her child and called the police to check on the toddler while she was in the custody of her estranged husband.

The “All For You” singer called 911 to check on the welfare of her 17-month-old-old son, Eissa, who was with billionaire businessman Wissam Al Mana at a hotel in Malibu, California, a wealthy seaside suburb of Los Angeles.

A watch commander with the Malibu County Sheriff’s office told Us Weekly that the Grammy-winning superstar contacted them and authorities went to the Nobu Hotel to check on the boy.

“Deputies were there and the child was OK so we left,” the commander told Us Weekly.

Jackson’s older brother Randy Jackson told “Entertainment Tonight” that the “Miss You Much” singer called 911 after receiving a call from a frantic and frightened nanny who was helping Al Mana watch their son. Randy Jackson said that the nanny was concerned about Al Mana’s threatening and aggressive behavior.

The woman was “terrified” and “locked herself in a bathroom so she could contact Janet,” Randy told ET‘s Kevin Frazier.

Janet Jackson, 52, and Al Mana separated after nearly five years of marriage in 2017, just three months after Jackson gave birth to her first and only child.

A source close to the Jacksons divulged to Us Weekly last year that Janet Jackson felt like she was locked in a golden prison by a very rich Middle Easterner who very much wanted an obedient and “traditional wife who stuck with Muslim traditions.”

Since separating from the reportedly controlling business baron, Janet Jackson has been mired in a legal battle to attain sole custody of Eissa from Al Mana. Randy Jackson also said his sister withstood years of “verbal abuse” from the London-based businessman.

Attorneys for Al Mana refute those “deeply hurtful allegations” and said that they were not going to dignify the comments with a response.
